Viridanse formed in 1983 by Flavio Gemma, Paolo Boveri, Enrico Ferraris and Roberto Modellato, during the new wave period in Italy. They published a demo tape and two records becoming one of the most influential bands of italian wave. The band stopped the activity in 1987.
